*sigh* I am BEYOND obsessed
I think I have this seriously unhealthy obsession with my breastmilk. I am so afraid to lose it like I did with DD that I am overly worried I'll lose it again. I am doing great right now because he is 10 weeks old and not a drop of formula and prefers to pacify on me and refuses a bottle where as with DD she had formula by now and loved her paci.
Now DS is sleeping from 10-6am and I am terrified I will lose my supply and AF has returned I have brewers yeast, red raspberry leaf tea, mother's milk tea, my placenta pills, coco nut oil, and I drink lots of water and eat well... I don't know why I am so obsessed... :-\

Re: *sigh* I am BEYOND obsessed
If you are concerned about supply dropping with baby STTN, you could pump once in the middle of the night. If she nurses at 10pm, maybe get up and pump at 1am, that would leave you only 5 hours until she gets up at 6.

I was like that too and still get worried 9 months later. I have OCD and can get truly obsessed with it. As long as your baby is having all the pee and poopy she should, you are good!

Re: *sigh* I am BEYOND obsessed
I understand being stressed, I was like that too. It sounds like you have a great routine and know what you are doing! Don't stress too much, that's no good either. (I always hate when someone says that though lol) trust yourself, trust your body and like pp said pump in motn if it help you feel better.

Re: *sigh* I am BEYOND obsessed
I understand too. I had supply issues with both my boys and was done at 6 and 7 months. I am trying not to stress this time but it is hard.
I worried too when DD started sleeping longer but amazingly it hasn't effected my supply, maybe cause she doesn't consistantly sleep long stretches. I feed on one side and pump the other side each mornging. I also eat a big bowl of oatmeal w/added flax meal each morning for breakfast and I really think that helps. i have my best supply so far.

Me too! It's so exhausting to constantly be thinking about everything that can affect your supply :/ :
