Re: Supply decrease as the week progresses?
Mine did that. Nothing empties the breasts like your LO! That is why you should let them nurse often when you are with them. The weekends got my supply back up.

Re: Supply decrease as the week progresses?
I agree with above...you get more on Monday because your LO has built up your supply over the weekend and as the days go on you get less and less because no pump is as good as your LO. Be happy you get 16 ounces! I usually get around 12 and my 5 month old eats 16 a day so my freezer stash is getting low and I am worried I will have to start supplementing.

Re: Supply decrease as the week progresses?
It is getting better and more regulated. My little guy is 3 months old now and I pump about 14-15 oz every day, even at the end of the week. He is eating 12 oz at daycare now, so I'm freezing the extra.
Oatmeal makes a huge difference. So does drinking a ton of water.

Re: Supply decrease as the week progresses?
Mine does but it is because I solely nurse when I am at home. On Monday I am coming off of an entire weekend of nursing so I have a good supply. Since the pumping is not as good as DS on getting milk out by Friday I am lower and the following Monday it is right back up there!
