Re: Do you let your kids eat snow?

When we know we're going to get a good snow fall we put a clean bowl out to catch our snow-creme snow.

Sure. They don't really eat snow, but if they wanted to eat fresh snow I don't really care.

Re: Do you let your kids eat snow?

we haven't really been around much snow, given that we've always lived in warm climates...but I would discourage it, thinking pollution, dirt, etc. I don't let them eat dirt or sand either, because I am worried about them getting worms, parasites, etc. I am paranoid about that...lol

Absolutely.
When it's clean and fresh.

We like to scoop up a big bowl full and mix it with Jello powder. Super yummy!

Yep, not yellow and only if it's deep enough it hasn't touched the ground

Well, I've been known to dip into a nice fresh batch of snow at the start of the season, so I can't imagine that I'll stop my kid when he's big enough to mimic me.

We love to eat snow and make snow ice cream-followed by hot chocolate. It snows (and sticks) here once every two years or so. Of COURSE they are going to get to eat some!
