I need to make a good list of my pantry so I can write up the shopping list for the weekend. Beginning of the month. I need to stock up on stuff and sort out the food storage again.

but for now I shall go to bed. Shannon has her class ice skating trip tomorrow and I really must make sure she has everything in the morning. I told her 2 pairs of gloves and 3 pairs of socks. I need to make sure she has a hot drink to take with her too. All adds onto the morning stuff.

All your cooking is making me hungry. Everybody had leftovers and I had a sausage/egg/spinach scramble. Probably going to eat leftover catfish tonight.

Totally agree on the mold Jen. Tomorrow is trash day, and I'm going to pitch the 4 boxes of fabric and homemade diaper crap that got wet before I get ideas I can wash it and keep it anyway. There's no telling what mold may be behind that pegboard wall. In theory it should be minimal because the air quality tests when we bought it were better than the insides of most people's houses, let alone basements, but maybe it is all encased in something. Or maybe the back of that beast of a workbench is all mildewed.
Ugh. I have to do some purging and organizing first so we have room to do some demolition.

Why thin tight socks? I thought it was always good to wear thick ones because skates, especially rentals, on a newbie foot give blisters.

I never did tell y'all about the kids skating last weekend. There was an ice pad at the festival, BYO skates, with a board/rope fence around it. I got the girls in, and walked around the outside alternately pulling them forward or helping them back up.

One lap exhausted them. Later I took Ian, in skates probably 2 sizes too big, and he wanted to do it HIMSELF and did it twice as fast as they did. I only had to pull him around the corners where it was slushy. And he got so mad at me after I told him one lap was enough, mama was exhausted.

IDK if they are going to ask to skate again. We shall see.

Cheyl. Idk. When jack had his skates fitted he had in regular
Socks. The guy said they shift around and don't give a proper fit? I'm sure it's fine for Amati there and there. We ended up buying him compression socks
