our heater went out tonight so the fire is going and I baked cookies to try and heat up the house.

won't get anyone out here until tomorrow afternoon.

in the morning we are going to test drive a ski boat we are buying....not really looking forward to the hour drive out there but oh well

Oh that stinks! When things like that happen I'm always thankful that I married a heating and air man! You never get hot or cold!!!!

AFM: DD still is running a temp, but it's down a good bit. At least she's acting normal this morning.

Katie- yup ! I married an hvac man myself! Glad your little is feeling better.

I need to toss my pork in the crock for tacos tonight. Tomorrow we are going out of town for the day. We are spending the morning/early afternoon with my bff. I have to drop off goodwill stuff and recycling, then meeting up with another friend to p/u some baby gear I gave her when she had her little one. Last stop before heading home is our cousins place to hang out for a bit and get the crib, dresser and changing table they are giving us. (hope we can fit it all) It's going to be a long day in the van. ugh. And Idk where we are going to store all this baby stuff! lol

My first appt was y'day, it was OK. She thinks I have an anterior placenta so it was hard to catch a heartbeat, but she said she's certain she heard it. That relieved some of my anxiety.


At the clinic waiting for labs and a GD test right now. I think I'm twitching from the sugar bomb drink.

I woke up on New Year's Day with no heating fuel. It was one of the coldest days of the winter (single digits) and the landlord couldn't get a single oil company to deliver that day, since it was a holiday. So I totally know what you're going through.

I just ordered a dozen NB AIOs from a coop on FB. So excited! I had been unsure whether I wanted to CD from the start with the new LO, but DS had a diarrhea blowout the other night in bed, and it reminded me of how his disposables would leak almost every time he pooped when he was a newb, regardless of the brand. Even small poos would leak out the back or side. I was constantly having to change his clothes. I literally had to pack at least 4 outfits whenever we went to visit people for more than a couple hours. I've been a bit disenchanted with CDing lately, because laundry isn't as easy when you have to take it down 2 flights of stairs into the basement. But it's certainly better than changing outfits multiple times a day.
