could i be pregnant?

hi all! i've never posted on this board, but thought i'd see what you ladies thought.

my last period was dec. 22, and also was when i stopped taking bc. on or off bc, i'm always super regular with 28 day cycles. i haven't had my period since then. i started hpt's when i missed and have taken multiple brands/times of day/whatever, and they've all been negative.

today, i'm nauseous...

what do you think? if i've missed my period, i've always gotten positive hpt.

your body is probably trying to regulate after being off the hormones...

I doubt you are. It is not unusual to be late after stoping birth control even if it has never happened before.

You could be, but I'm guessing like pp said its just from stopping the pill. In the past every time I stopped I had a 28 day cycle for the few months after, but this last time my first cycle was 35 or 36 days. You never know.

When I went off BC I didn't get a period for 3 months the first time. The 2nd time it took about 6 weeks to get a period. I was testing like crazy too but it usually does take some time for your body to get back to normal. The longer you are on BC the longer it tends to take as well.

thanks for the replies. i'm figuring i'm not pregnant too, but being so nauseous all day today made me question it more. i was only on the pill for about 5 months this time~!

Maybe you are about to get it and the drop in hormone levels right before you start is what is making you nauseous. I would say if you don't have a visit from Aunt Flo in a week take a test again to be safe.
