Is this the one with the closed valve (that you have to bite to open)? Any odors?

No odors, and it's not a closed valve. You just have to squeeze it a little to get stuff out. It's not the easy squeeze one where you suck on it like the pouches of baby food either.

I am confused...on the Sili Squeeze website there is the Sili Squeeze that has the valve that has an X type opening in the valve (that I called the closed valve) and then they have the Sili Squeeze with Ease that is just open and free flowing (like the store pouches). So is it the X type valve one?

I am horrible at explaining things, sorry!

The valve part is just an open hole. Would a picture help?
