Diaper Swappers

Just a little rant/vent. We aren't very close to my parents or dh's family (mom's side, his parents are divorced) these days. When they were here at the beginning of January, his mom made this huge commotion about how she never sees our kids and doesn't get invited to school events and sports (she is embarrassing at school events, very loud and sometimes I appropriate with her conversation topics). While they were all here I made copies of the girls' schedules, highlighted their games, and gave copies to her and my parents. My parents left theirs so I emailed it to them. Today was their last games and neither his mom or my parents made a single game all season. None of them work weekends, his mom lives 2 minutes from the school where games are at. Guess I shouldn't be surprised since they haven't seen DS since he was 2 weeks old, he's 6 weeks now

and let you know that you are not alone. I am feeling your pain right now big time. I notice more and more how much crap DH and I were willing to take from family but when it effects your children they really cross a line.
