I say make the bed. But I think I'm switching over to "dressing the bed." It sounds so very English, and I love the Brits.

Not really a real phrase, but I had a stay-at-home mum friend years and years ago who used to say that she has not yet woken her beds up. We all started using "wake up the beds"!

I'm going to start saying it too. Like I said I used to here this when I lived in Jamaica. It sounds better than "spread the bed" which does sound a little naughty as another poster pointed out.
