Re: Fenugreek and PCOS
From my experience fenugreek works wonders for pcos and helps so much with insulin resistance. I am an indian by origin and fenugreek is a must in our cabinets since ancient days. It has a tendency to nurture ovaries. But the capsules aren't as effective because its processed a lot. I buy fenugreek from indian grocery stores (costs less than 3 dollars). Every night I soak 2 spoons of fenugreek in a glass of water. In the morning after brushing and on empty stomach I drink the water that the seeds are soaked in and then chew the seeds. They are not as bitter as they are when raw but there's still little bitterness. After chewing well I drink a glass of water. That's it. It's been helping me do much with my insulin resistance. 30 years ago when i was born, my mom did this to improve her breast milk.
