Re: S/O What do you wear in labor?
My first was a hospital birth and I wore the gown. My second was a homebirth. I went into labor at night and ended up just in my pajama tshirt. After she was born, the shirt came off so we could be skin to skin.

I labored at home for most of my labor (about 4 hours) and wore a robe which was all I was able to get on after laboring in the shower for a bit.
Once I got to the hospital, I was already ten cm. and could have cared less what was on me. So, hospital gown it was! |

Re: S/O What do you wear in labor?
For labor I wore a strapless sundress and then my robe but was naked for delivery. I plan on a similar sundress with pockets this time.

I ordered a hospital gown from Modmum and loved it for my last birth. I got a lot of compliments on it from my nurses, too

Re: S/O What do you wear in labor?
I labored at home with my pajamas on (with all 3), then got dressed to go to the hospital/birth center. I delivered my first and third naked, and my second wearing a hospital gown.

Re: S/O What do you wear in labor?
A t-shirt that is literally as old as I am. My husband got it out of a goodwill box when he was deployed and it is the most comfortable thing I own. It's been washed so many times it's practically see through. Nothing on bottom. And the t-shirt came off in the middle of pushing so I was butt naked at that point. But I was hot and didn't care.

Re: S/O What do you wear in labor?
I had a home birth so I didn't really care. I wore a long, flowing skirt (with nothing under) and tanktop while I was labouring. When I got into the tub I wore a maternity swim top and nothing on bottom.

Re: S/O What do you wear in labor?
My first two were at home, and I was naked from start to finish. Third was in the hospital and I wore the gown. HATED it. This time I ordered a really short fold over waist yoga/cover up skirt. It will be matched with a tank top or just a sports bra. If the hospital gives me crap, I WILL opt to be naked under my robe and they can bite me.

Re: S/O What do you wear in labor?
I wore a hospital gown throughout my induction & eventual c-section. This time around I will also wear a hospital gown & don't plan on taking it off. If I would need to wheeled out for an immediate c-section I would feel too exposed flying down the hall with nothing but a thin sheet tossed over me.
