So cute and organized. I'm doing purple too and while DD will have her own nursery for a little while, she'll eventually be sharing a room with ODD, so trying to make everything that will transition well to a little girls room.

it's a pretty room but, aside from the crib, isn't a baby room - which is perfect when it's being shared by a 9yr old!

I love it! I live with my inlaws, so the baby will be rooming in with DH and me until we move out, so I don't get to decorate a new room :-(

It was hard to not go all baby when planning a room for girls 9 years apart. I didn't want to do anything too grown up for the baby, not too baby-ish for the 9yo. I'm relatively pleased with it.

I think we've decided to pain after all.. A light light blue.

Don't feel bad! DH and I keep our newbies in our room for the first while (at least a year), so they've never gotten a nursery either. They do have a bassinet or crib in our room, though, and their dresser, and I hang their footprints and embroideries above their "area".
I hope to post pics of Hiccup's when (if!) I get the chance to set it up - you can still post pics of your LO's spot, even if it's not a "full fledged" nursery!
