We're having a girl McKenzie Grace. The spelling of McKenzie caused a Hugh discussion in the hospital! Turns out my husband was right(I hate that) and the male version is Mac like I wanted. Sigh oh well I still love the name!

I know of a girl MacKenzie and I remember ready a book with a female lead named MacKenzie and they called her Mac.

As in, Talia Sensholding of Valdemar? That's my favorite series and character ever, and we would use that name in a second if it didn't cause a vowel sound issue with our last name
