So that is all you use? no condom? even during o time?

I'm using the mini pill and EBF. I gained weight on the combination pill but no problems so far with supply and I've lost 30 pounds.

I talked to my Dr about an IUD but he said that's more of a longer term solution like 2-3+ years.

I am also on the mini pill..the micronor i believe..ob said its a progesterone based pill..but safe for EBF..and i haven't had any affects on my supply...I am 16 weeks post.

I'm trying to decide the same thing. I'm allergic to condoms (well, the spermicide. But I can't find any without it!) so I am thinking about the Paragard. I'm frightened about it migrating somewhere else in my body or perforating my uterus though and it's expensive and my insurance won't cover it. I won't do the minipill either because I don't do well with hormone stuff (weight gain, acne, irritability and supply issues) Ugh, such a hard choice!

I use a combo of the Fertility Awareness Method and condoms. I am also allergic to spermacide but we seem to be able to find them without it.

I am allergic to Latex and spermicide! go figure! And my body doesn't handle any kind of extra horomones well...makes me super sick so I have to stick to the mini pills
