Hi there I was hoping to get a cocoon knit up , my daughter is a week old and weighed 8 lbs at birth, so do you think a small or medium would be best ? If you have an opening please let me know thanks

I would say a Medium then (she might fit a small but it wouldn't fit for long). My son was 8 lbs 6 oz's at birth and he was in the Medium size. I have an opening starting next week if that works for you. Are you thinking wool or acrylic and using stock yarn or sending some in?

Next week works for me I have some wool dh yarn that I just bought through a coop. How much would I need for a medium cocoon ?

Approximately 210 (give or take a little) of worsted weight yarn should do it. It kind of depends on the base though. Some bases stretch past their given yardage and I wouldn't need quite as much. Pm me if you have any questions about the base you are thinking about using and I will give you my shipping addy.

Im addicted. Do you have any yarn like the One the gnome was made into? If so I need a 6 month size coveralls to match him. Chase has finally outgrown his newborn ones.

I do have a little but not enough for coverall's. I am going to the store to pick up some yarn tomorrow or this evening. I will see if I can pick some more up

Sure not a problem . Are you wanting the 6 month measurements that come with the pattern or do you want them customized at all?
