Ergo size?

I'm a plus size momma and looking at the Ergo for a new carrier. I live my ring sling but I'm wanting to expand my carriers. I'm worried the Ergo won't fit around my waist. Can someone tell me what the max size is around the waist? Thanks!!!

The performance has a much better waist strap, I don't know the exact measurements but it is significantly diff than the regular ergo.

Re: Ergo size?

I could measure mine when I get home if you haven't gotten the info, but I'm pretty sure Ergo sells a waist extender. I'm not plus size but I usually wear mine around my hips and there isn't a lot of strap left after buckling it.

You may want to look at a Boba instead. They're a bit wider and higher and offer more padding overall.

Re: Ergo size?

I have heard that ergo sport is larger than the regular. I have one and wear the bottom strap around my waist. I wear about a 14/16 in pants right now. Best bet is to go into Babies R Us and try the sport on.

I am a 13/14 and the ergo fits me with plenty extra strap hanging. But Im pretty sure they sell extenders. Just check on there website. If you have a local cloth diaper store they usual sell carriers and have one already opened for you to try on. The store by me has 5-8 different kinds of carriers to try on and the help you wear them right.
