My 12-13 lb 7 wk old is still wearing these and happy heineys minis. I haven't had any absorbency issues with either after replacing the HH inserts with hemp.
The BG, grovia, and Fuzzibunz newborn dipes we used have all been added to storage for the next baby. How long they last is so dependent on baby size. |

Re: Nb swadlebees - 16lbs really??
Our LO used them until 14 lbs. It wasn't great absorbency on its own for him at that point, but we put a newborn size hemp doubler in them and it was fine.

This sounds very promising. It seems like it would hold us over until the baby fits into a OS diaper. My daughter and my nephew on my husbands side have longer torso with short, chubby legs. I don't know what that means about the rise, though. I'm expecting the new baby to be similar in build because my husbands genes seem to be very strong.

Re: Nb swadlebees - 16lbs really??
This is exactly what I thought when I got mine and when I first tried it on ds, but lo and behold he is still wearing them at 15+ lbs. They will not fit much longer, but they are still wearable at this point and the absorbency is enough on its own for my average wetter.

Re: Nb swadlebees - 16lbs really??
These are probably the best AIOs for newborns. My little one is 10 lbs @ 3.5 weeks and I am wondering as well, if it would last till 16 pounds because I plan to order couple more.

Re: Nb swadlebees - 16lbs really??
My son outgrew the absorbency around 8 weeks, but it does have the tunnel design where I suppose you could add something. However this was so much better than BG newborn -- he outgrew the absorbency of those at 2 weeks!

Re: Nb swadlebees - 16lbs really??
I had the HH mini OS and Blueberry mini OS and both lastes till about 4 months. DD seems to have a high rise. I really liked them. Way better than the FB xs and BG xs

I don't know about absorbency, but I would believe it on the size. The covers I make have fit my babies from 6-18lbs.

Re: Nb swadlebees - 16lbs really??
I'm using them now on my 8lb DD who is 12 days old. My husband calls them the "good diapers" lol. He reaches for them first and uses them all up before going onto other brands. I have no idea how long they last though. I don't care, I'm sure it will be long enough and I'm SO glad I bought 18!

Yes they can go 3-4 months for sure and yes, 16 lb for some. Probably safe planning on 14lb.
