Re: Baby Craft thread
Ive been making headbands like crazy since we found out our baby was a girl! Ive also been making bibs, cloth wipes, diapers, snuggle blankets, sleep sacks (and lots of other sewing projects)... too much to sew, no time to knit or crochet.
Ugh Im too new to post pictures! |

Finished these yesterday for the nursery.
Has anyone sewn minky changing pad covers before? Did you fold over hem them for the elastic encasing? Or did a zig stitch work just fine since minky doesn't fray?

Have more projects OTN (on the needles)!
Will share pics as soon as I have them done, I just wanted to tease you all.

Re: Baby Craft thread
![]() I finished the smaller rainbow cocoon, and got buttons for the rainbow boots - have pics on my camera still I think. Now I can't get the yarn I want (for either of the projects I have!) or the cloth for cross stitching in the right size. Hopefully I'll find them (one or the other) this week and be able to get more started.

Cant wait!
I decided to do an afghan squares blanket for this baby. Then I asked all of the baby's grandmas and aunts if they wanted to do some squares. Its been a great bedrest project because I can finish a square in a day/day in a half so I dont get bored. I also love getting pictures or packages of finished blocks. Here's a shot of most of the finished blocks randomly laid out. The colors in the pic are a bit off.

Brown hat with off white brim. The white totally looked more cream in the store, if I find a better color I may redo the brim. It's not a newborn size, it will be good for fall/winter. I'm making two sets of booties since we aren't finding out the sex. Pink pair is done, just started the blue pair.
