Is Tide really okay?
I have hard water. Our diapers laugh at rockin green & Eco doesn't really do it for us either. I have liquid original I've washed once with the diapers, seemed to work okay DD didn't get any reactions...but her diapers smell like tide still, is that okay? Or will this produce build up sooner than later? Really just asking has anyone had success with Tide & hard water

Re: Is Tide really okay?
I've read not to use liquid detergent, but then I've read a ton of conflicting advice on detergents. For my diapers I use Tide original powder to the 1 line with an additional cold rinse. Some scent remains but my son hasn't had any irritation. It works for us.

Re: Is Tide really okay?
i used tide powder and calgon when i had hard water. i dont think it would be a problem if the diapers smell like the detergent.

Re: Is Tide really okay?
Tide and hard water here for 3 years. I use Tide Free & Gentle powder because I hate the scent of regular and it aggravated my migraines. A scent left over is only an issue if it bothers you or your baby.

I've used tide (powder) for over 15 months and never had problems. Our diapers always smell like tide. We have bamboo, cotton, and microfiber.

Another long time Tide user, liquid & we have hard water. I don't mind my diapers smelling like the detergent.

I wash with original Tide liquid. We have hard water as well. I've been doing this for a couple years now with no issues.

Re: Is Tide really okay?
I hate the liquid, but I have always used tied with no problems. I prefer the powders, but will use the liquid if it's all I can get.
