I've read that the norm is 4-6 weeks. I think it was only 2 weeks with my first. I am now almost 9 weeks postpartum and still bleeding. Has that happened to anyone else?

I think I was still spotting around that time. It all depends on how much you bled during surgery. I had to have a blood transfusion...

I'm pretty sure it slowed close to 4weeks and lasted until 6-8 weeks.

Hard to remember, but DH deployed at 8 weeks, so I know that things weren't overly.. um.. flowing at that point.

My first C-section was 8 weeks, the second I bled for 3.5 months and this last one I only bled for 5 weeks.

Mine was tapering off around 7 weeks.

I had a c/s with my 3rd and only bled for like 2-3 weeks which is really short for me. I bled for 8 weeks with my 4th child (VBAC) and it was so annoying, but there wasn't anything wrong with me.

I can't answer exactly because I had mirena put in at 6 wks PP. but I was still bleeding at 6 wks and then at least a couple months after that some weird bleeding/spotting attributed to the Mirena.
