been eating a 3 egg omelet cooked in coconut oil with some ketchup every morning, and usually a glass of grass fed bone stock, but I couldn't stomach it this morning. It's too bland without a lot of salt or veggies in in. I caved and ate like 4 hot dogs for lunch today. At least they were natural hot dogs on whole grain bread! Really need to eat a salad in a bit though, I have not had any veggies today ugh....

I'm eating the WAPF/nourishing traditions diet - I get the new baby book this week! I can't wait!

Today I had two eggs, and egg yolk, sourdough pancakes with pasture butter and some maple syrup, and a raw milk and yogurt drink. I'm about to chow on some chicken and sourdough dumpling soup made with bone broth. So. Darn. Good.

Tonight I was planning liver and onion (I got a steal at Whole Foods for 99 cents a pound of grass fed liver. I bough the whole thing). But I think we're doing salmon instead. We had pâté last night.

Do you put veggies or spices in your bone broth? I find it improves the flavor.

Very healthy! I gave up all things sugar and white flour for Lent. I'm hoping I can carry it out through out the pregnancy. Lots of fresh veggies and fruit, eggs, homemade soups. I'm trying to make a different soup every week and snack on that.
