Does the omni have a snap as well? Is there any reason the echo is better than the omni say, even if you only plan to use the snap/AI2 feature (basically never use the pocket)?

Is there a snap for a stuffed inserts too?

The omni snaps too. They are wider than Echos (by a little bit).

You wouldn't want to snap it in the pocket because the snap put the MF side down. Then the urine would have to go through the fleece of the pocket & then the fleece of the insert. You would get bunches of leaks that way.

^^what she said. Also since the Echos are narrower in the crotch (by about an inch), the less fabric make them the trimmer option on a newborn. Both have the adjustable legs so you would still get a good fit leakwise but the omni is going to look bulkier.
