Mother-Ease EconoMe & Rikki Slim cover Review with Pics
I am on the hunt for some fitteds to go under our woolies
![]() Lucas is 4 months old and 14lbs 11 oz. He wears flips and simplex os on the middle rise setting. He has more booty than any of my other babies ever had but I wouldn't say he is bootylicous We ordered this https://usshop.motherease.com/shopdi...ME+Intro+Offer We did the size small EconoMe with small Sandy Liner and Medium Rikki slim wrap. First impressions: Super super fast shipping. fitted and liner were rough out of the package but softened up wonderfully after washing. we do use cd safe fab softeners. ![]() This is without the sandy liner. It fits him very well right now. It is on the largest waist setting without needing some kind of snap covers for the outside snaps. I am not sure these would last another 5 lbs. the waist is quite snug. Not too tight but not really room to grow. ![]() And a side view. Again without the sandy liner. Elastic hugs nicely ![]() This is with the sandy liner. It does add more bulk than I expected but not too bad. ![]() Side view with the sandy liner. this is where you can see that it adds some bulk. ![]() with the Rikki Slim cover. This is the size medium. I normally would size down for mother ease covers as I find they run generous. I am going to say these run smallish. I am so glad I didn't size down. I really like this cover. I am not usually a fan of ME covers ![]() ![]() side view ![]() and my sweet baby boy in his woolies (we took off the Rikki slim cover) Final impressions. I probably won't buy more of these. I don't think they have enough room to grow. I also think these will not have enough hold power without the sandy Liner and well, I am not a fan of bulk. I can add a picture of my ds in a small sandy later if anyone thinks that would help from a comparative standpoint. FTR: I did rotate and fix my pics in photobucket but I guess it is taking awhile to update here

Re: Mother-Ease EconoMe & Rikki Slim cover Review with Pics
No problem
I can't wait to wash it and use it again. I bet it gets more absorbent as I only washed and dried it once. The only REAL dealbreaker for me is that we are on the largest waist setting already and it is pretty snug It is a nice quality squishy diaper and at a nice price point.

Looks a lot like an meos but without the extra sizing, do they cost less than meos or something?

They are shaped like the one-size but come in 2 sizes. They are about $2.00 less per diaper.

Re: Mother-Ease EconoMe & Rikki Slim cover Review with Pics
Not that I could tell. I mean there was no obvious sewn in panel like meos. Maybe the whole diaper is thicker
I will try and see if I can figure out how many layers it is when it comes out of the wash tomorrow

Re: Mother-Ease EconoMe & Rikki Slim cover Review with Pics
I thought I remember someone saying they dont have a soaker. If you pinch the diaper on either side (inner and outer) you should be able to feel if they are 2 ply or if there is a 3rd sandwiched layer. I know all their other dipes have a 2 ply body, but they all have at least 3 layers extra in the soaker zone, I think.
