Hi there! I'm in a similar situation. Our state technically covers hb, but only 2 mw in. the entire state accept medicaid and they are 3+ hours away. Mostly this is because the cpm's are underground b/c the state prosicutes them, and only a handful of cnm's do hb's.
so I decided to see a hospital cnm and then just stay home as long as everything goes well. I don't plan on showing up at the hospital though afterward, I figure I will just call the mw the next day and tell her the baby came. Medicaid should pay for everything. Chelsea mom of 4, from my phone
