Re: pictures of partially detached soaker in BGE?
I don't believe they are hung dry necessarily. When material has more freedom to move around, the faster it drys. I really think it would help with the lumpiness. You'd be able to fold over vrs trying to smooth out the lumps.

Re: pictures of partially detached soaker in BGE?
Here are pictures of how I detached mine.I used a seam ripper and undid the part that was sewn at the front of the diaper. if you remove the right stitching the ends of thed soaker stay serged. It drys so much quicker and is a lot easier to put on too, before I hated how you had to almost fold it in a spot and it.never stayed now.its just like any other soaker. It used to bother me so much I almost didnt like the bges at all but now I love it.

Here is a video showing the process, and the end of the video has a bit showing how the detached soaker works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJwiIGX5jZ0

I did this and now love how much cleaner they get! They dry faster in the dryer. I just fold mine towards the middle for my girl when I put them on. Stalking seconds for more

Re: pictures of partially detached soaker in BGE?
I held off on doing this to my BGE's for 2 YEARS! I finally did it to a few seconds and the diapers just fit so much better now. And they clean better. And spray better. So I detached the soakers on the rest of them, even with a month left on the warranty! Wish I had done it years ago.
