Origami fold is not trim on my squish

Is it just me, or is origami fold really bulky? It seems crazy bulky for my newborn, even before I try to figure our what to do with the wings. Then, once I handle the wings, its even bigger!

What flat are you using?

For me it was super trim, I may had to fold the back down and then I folded the wings in then snappi'd. DD was 6 lbs and it was the trimmest diaper--trimmer than gmd orange edge.

Also I used cotton babies flats for her that are small compared to other flats.

When my son was still small enough I could try the origami fold I found it to be bulky around the waist. It seemed an inconvenient place to place all the absorption.

I also find the origami fold to be super bulky around the waist. Try the newborn kite fold. Its much more trim.
