Meatless meal ideas??

We do speghetti without meatballs or meat sauce often. If I want it to look like a different meal I do baked ziti instead. lol

Homemade mac and cheese.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup

Cheese quisadias (sp) I do this in the microwave for a quick lunch.

Perogies sauteed with lots of veggies!
French onion soup is cheap to make too!
Pasta with red sauce, home made mac n cheese with veggies!

Oh, and if you're feeling adventurous gnocchi is great! We make it in bulk and freeze it. Also black bean soup! I modified the Goya recipe and it's great! Nice and filling!

You can make a pot pie with lentils or tempah,

saute onion and garlic in butter or oil, add flour and broth, thicken to make a gravy, throw in whatever veggies you have, fresh, frozen, canned it doesn't matter, top with a pie crust or mashed potatoes and bake in the oven.

Use frozen squash, any kind of milk, and I use the tubes of basil in the produce section (buy on sale and they freeze great!) so you don't need to use the blender. Easy and yummy!
