totally vain question
Since we went to the hospital after a regular appt, I didn't get a chance to dye my hair. I'm just over 1 week post op. Anyone dye their own hair and know if it would irritate or otherwise harm my incision? thanks

Re: totally vain question
I would get it professionally done. If the dye gets into your incission I imagine that can open a dangerious door to infection.

You may have to sit down to dye it, but you should be fine.

Re: totally vain question
Not down there, just wondering if the at home dye will wash down and disturb a fresh (now 2 weeks post op) scar/incision.

Do you have a detachable showerhead and/or someone that could help you rinse your hair? Or you could try just blocking the incision from any dye running down. After my c-section, I was paranoid about irritating my incision and I recall blocking it with my hand or washcloth when I would rinse shampoo and conditioner out of my hair.
