to switch my dd out of her infant seat and into a convertible? She's tiny. 13 months. And maybe 17 lbs. When I look at the graco site for the snugride 35 it talks about using it for the first year. Can I keep using it past that? Eventually I'll need to buy her another seat since newbaby will be here in September, but I've got time. So can I use her infant seat past 1 yrs old?

As long as she is below the weight limit and has more than 1" of she'll above her head she can still use it.

As long as she's still under the weight and height limits (which she definitely is!), keep using it as long as you can! Sounds like you'll likely be fine to use it for her until you need it for the new baby

Yes, absolutely. DS is at the top of the charts and always has been, and used the snugride 35 in my moms car till he was about 15 months.

We had convertibles by 10 months but she liked the bucket seat and he didn't mind it. Some babies want to be more upright by that age and may fuss in the seat, but others do fine in the bucket.
