I love them! Super trim and I am very excited to be able to put in a prefold under the soakers for nighttime....

Yes!!!! This is why I personally like them. My ds is 28lbs at 12 months and very long. All other diapers we use (swaddlebees os simplex and blueberry pockets) his rise is all the way unsnapped. I had to snap down the rise and even went 1 more row in on his waist. Makes me happy that he has more room to grow since he's doing that pretty well right now!!

Yep you don't have to use it, but you can't get rid of it. I had 12 of them and sold them. I like my diapers to wash clean and the fleece seemed to hinder that. It also looked kind of grungy after a few washes and wears. I should add I also had snap problems with simplex.

Yep same reason I will at least give them a try. My guy is the same weight and has a tall rise too.

I don't know.....the exposed PUL and insert bunching make them a no go for me (not that I need any diapers!) I'd be nervous to buy 24 of anything without trying them first.

Re: So who actually likes the new elemental?

I ordered two new bge. I'm excited to try them. I'm not an aio user because the idea of the absorbent fabric being attached to the pul kind of grosses me out- seems like the water can't go all the way through to get really clean. So I'm very interested in this design. I've never used or seen an old elemental and I wouldn't have bought any.

Re: So who actually likes the new elemental?

I am a fan of the old Elementals, and the old ones are trim, so I think a newly designed BGE that is even trimmer, you can customize the absorbancy, and it has a faster dry time would be sweet! I would love to try them, but I think the price is still too much. Flips and the new daytime Flip inserts would be basically the same thing as the new BGE except they are not attached. It's just hard to justify the price when it takes you only 5 seconds longer to fold the daytime insert 3 times, and place it in a cover.
