Bumgenius Hook and Loop

I don't understand how they are one of the leading companies in the industry and they continue to use such terrible quality h&l. Especially while other companies are stepping it up. I feel like Cotton Babies/BumGenius has peaked.

I've noticed their quality rapidly decline with every generation of products. I have some old BG 3.0 that had curly velcro when I got them and they're still in much better shape than the less used 4.0. The Flips sold now are very different in construction quality than my first purchase in 2010.

So it goes when you're the big brand.

Its weird. I have some BG 2.0s that still have perfect hook and loop. No curling and still sticky. I got them used from a mama and am still using them. I wonder if they changed what velcro they use between 3.0 and 2.0(all my 3.0 have awful curly non sticky hook and loop)

I found my 3.0 hook and loop lasted 2 years before needing replacing, the new tabs looked worse after a month that the old ones did thr entire time. The aplix on the 4.0's is softer and less scratchy, but I don't find thry are as sticky and I really do not like their laundry tabs. I loved the soft ones with thr light bulb stitched onto them the best.

I replaced my hook and loop after about 6-9 months with touch tape and its the best thing I've done! It's been going strong for about a year and its still stickier than the Velcro ever was. My 2 year old cant even get the touchtape diapers off without help lol!! I highly recommend it!

How did you do that on a BG? I can't quite picture it.

This I also saw this and replaced all the used tabs and aplix on the used diapers I bought. I have used them exclusively for about 6 months and they look like new
