Why oh why?

Ok mamas, I just need to vent a little. Why tell someone you're 100% interested, ask for the PP addy, & then not contact them back or pay. I understand getting busy, having something else coming up & all of that but why just not respond at all I've had this happen four times in the past week!

Sorry for the rant but I needed to vent my frustrations somewhere!

IDK. Bugs me to. I get the --i really really want these, send pp, and then they dont send, i send a reminder, no response, and then 3 days later are made when the item is sold.


I think it bugs me more because if I want something Incheck ebery few minutes and pay ASAP or at leasr tell the buyer there will be a chance I coukdnt oay firna few hours.

That's why I always respond with a time frame. If I don't receive PP in 24 hours (or whatever time works for you) then I'll move on to the next buyer. Then you can sell to the next person without waiting or feeling bad.

that has happened twice this week to me as well. They express interest on my items, as for a specific measurement, I tell them, then I don't hear back. Then, after a day or 2, I ask if they are still interested because by now, others have expressed interest. I wait another day, and I never hear back! And by then, the other person has lost inteest as well, and I've lost the sale not once, but twice! UGH! I feel like leaving a negative feedback for rude people LOL!

This has happened to me too, I've started giving them like 12hrs to pay, and if they haven't i just move on. I want my stuff gone and I'm not willing to let a sale slip because of a flighty buyer. I had a person ask about about 100 dollars of my items, give them a GREAT deal, then her nothing bAck , and in the same circumstances have the person then basically say " never mind i just want the one (cheapest) item". I answer a million questions, take a bunch of pictures then sell 5$ worth of stuff.

This has been happening to me ALL THE TIME, too. I respond with a timeframe- "If you would like this item, please respond within XX hours." I've had an influx of non-paying bidders on ebay too, when I was listing items last year. It's crazy.


The WORST was a trade that last year where I was basically giving a ton of things (like between $100 worth of clothing, diapers, toys, etc) for a carrier that was worth maybe $30, to help a mama out. I just asked her to cover shipping in a LFRB OR Parcel Post, and SILENCE. I even BOUGHT things for her specific for the trade that she was looking for from a local thrift store that she agreed on. It was insane to go from communication every day, to nothing. She was still using the forums on DS, and bumping her trade thread... but not answering any PM's.

In that case, If the shipping were really the problem (as I suspect it was), I would have appreciated communication and we probably could have worked something out. (I sent all of that in a PM as well, and never got an answer). That was really my first "bad" experience on DS.

Most mamas that I've interacted/traded/purchased items from / sold items too have been awesome.
