Who got pregnant before ppaf?

I got pregnant with ds2 while dd was 18 mos old (still nursing and no ppaf)

I did with LO 1&2. After TTC for 2.5 years with LO1 I became pregnant with no PPAF at 9mo and EBF. Shock does not begin to describe!

my dd just turned 8 months and I havent had a period. I randomly took a test a few weeks ago bc I was gaining some weight in my belly but thought there was no way I was pregnant. sure enough 2 tests turned very positive instantly. I still have absolutely no idea how far along I am but I have an ultra sound on the 11th. with my ds my period didn't return until after I weaned. so I assumed it would be that way this time esp considering she has never slept through the night and we cosleep (which means we hardly ever get her in her crib to dtd in the first place lol) and my dd nurses throughout the night. she still has quite a few sessions during the day too and we just started solids recently. we are so surprised by this but now that we know its pretty obvious that Im showing! pretty sure we will be finding out how far I am as well as the gender at our first Dr apt.

My friend did. She is due next month and her ds2 is only 10 months old.

I did after #4. DD was still nursing and 12 mo. I had just quit pumping while at work, so thought fertility wouldn't take too long to return. I had fertility signs, so thought there was a chance I was o'ing, though I wasn't temping so I wasn't sure. But about 11 days later, I poas and got a BFP :-) So I knew when I had O'd and was spot on with my EDD. #4 and #5 are 21 months apart to the day.

Sometimes not even that. Our surprise baby was conceived when DD was a mere 3 months old. She'll have a sibling for her 1st birthday. I was EBFing her & pumping an extra 20oz per day for donating.

FWIW, I did have one PPAF. I just wasn't very sure that's what it was. My first PPAF after having my DS came at like 7 weeks postpartum. I told my MW that and she insisted that it couldn't have been AF that early. She said that it must have been residual postpartum bleeding. I thought that I might once again be having the residual postpartum bleeding that I supposedly experienced the first time around. Nope! It was good ole' AF! So here I sit now, 11 weeks pregnant with a 5 month old. Can you believe we struggled to conceive both children before this?

First DS was 22 mo with no ppaf.
Second DS was 18 mo with no ppaf.
Third DS was 23 mo with no ppaf.

Caught the first egg each time! Due with Boy #4 at the end of June.

I havent had this happen yet, but wouldnt mind it my question to you all is how did you figure out you were pregnant? What clued you in?

I was queasy at lunch. And then I flipped on my husband. And I said last time I was this emotional I was pregnant. And we both just stopped and looked at each other. He got a test immediately. 7pm. Positive. I was only 4.5 weeks
