Re: Anybody using Coconut Oil?
p.s.--Coconut oil in a silicone ice cube tray works great with coconut oil. It does not work well with coconut mixed with shea, as the shea sticks to the grooves. I think cocoa butter and c.o. will be fine, as it is harder than both shea and coconut oil at room temperature. You don't need to freeze the tray. It is better to leave it on the counter for a day so that you don't have to deal with food smells.

We use it for hair, face, all over body, facial exfoliant (with baking soda), personal lubricant, mama/daddy time, and I put it in a hair and skin butter that I make with shea butter and other stuff.

We use it for diaper rashes, dry skin, baking, sauteeing, frying, etc. It is very versatile.

I wouldn't use it by itself as a deodorant as it failed miserably for me. I have heard a combo of baking soda and coconut oil works great. |

Re: Anybody using Coconut Oil?
I too use it as pregnant belly moisturizer. T minus 34 days and no stretch marks! My mother had been using it for years as a moisturizer and her old stretch marks have practically disappeared. I also cook with it and have put it in cookies. I put it in smoothies too, but I have a vitamix, so it really gets blended.
