Prior to giving birth I was nervous about leaving work. I make the dept schedule and do timecards for my boss' approval. No one else knew how to do either and I had to teach someone both confusing processes in a very short timeframe. However, now that I'm home with the baby, they're on their own! I don't even think about it.

Re: Anyone who is really looking forward to their leave?!
I was planning on working until 3/9 (I work weekends) but since our little buddy decided to come a bit early I'm on leave now and it's awesome. One of the best perks of having a baby. As my husband puts it, "You'll do anything for a vacation, huh?"

Re: Anyone who is really looking forward to their leave?!
Well they got really demanding at work today and totally pissed me off. At my appt. yesterday I was fully effaced and 2cm so I contacted HR and they told everyone that I am gone and not to contact me anymore...YAY I am on maternity leave!! The nice part is my maternity leave butts up to summer break so if I go back I do not have to return until August. Sigh of relief!
