I'm Tabitha. I have a 5 and 3yo, both boys. They will be 6 and 4 before baby arrives. They are going to be super excited when we finally tell them. I'm not sure when, but it will have to be after we're okay with everyone else knowing, because I know they'll blab! DH already wants a girl. I honestly don't care, but I know that every one of my family (including my kids!) and friends is going to be wanting a girl, so just not to disappoint everyone, haha, I would like a girl

I need a cute, inexpensive way to tell my parents. I just called them the last times, but I want to do something cool/special this time. They both live in the same city as me. Any idea??????
I don't want to tell my kids until after my first appointment, they're definitely going to be excited though.. My friend just found put she was pregnant (but she found out she was 13 weeks) and posted this cute picture on Facebook. It was her daughters and the youngest one had a sign that said I'm going to be a big sister....And her older daughter was holding a sign that said ....Again.... And had the u/s picture taped to it.. It was so cute

Re: November 2013 due daters :)

So far, this pregnancy is totally different from my first. I would not have known I. Was pg at all last time with out a test. I ever felt any different until about 13 weeks when I started getting tired. This time, I was having back aches and crampy/stretchy pains a week before missing my period, so I was already suspicious and then I had some implantation bleeding, so I knew for sure but waited another week to test. My boobs hurt and I'm tired already this time around. But still no morning sickness, I never had any with DS and don't anticipate it this time either. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing this journey with you.

Welcome and congrats!!

Where is everyone? It's been pretty quiet in here the last couple days. I know it's early and lots of November mamas haven't even gotten their bfp's yet, but since I can't tell anyone yet I am dying! You guys are almost the only people I can talk to about it

Welcome to everyone!

I am totally struggling with not telling anyone as well! I didn't remember it being this hard. Feeling ok over here. A little tired but I'm working nights so that's normal anyhow. Today I promised myself it was my last day of testing. I am so happy to see these pretty lines!!

Anyone else have lines to share?

Very pretty lines! I am out of tests and can't justify buying more at this point. I've had 4 bfps. But, I might break down and get a couple walmarts cheapies. If I do I'll share pics

Nice to meet you Tabitha and Tara! I am Brittney, married for three years to an active duty soldier whom I love, and I have a 2yo (27 mo) daughter. My whole family wants a boy so the pressure is on but I secretly want another girl. I love having a little girl.

Welcome to the new mamas and congrats!

It's been pretty difficult for me to keep my mouth shut to my local friends.. but to my family it has not. Is that weird? I just like having this special little secret right now.

Still no crazy symptoms other than extreme fatigue, hunger, and swelling boobs.

Also, I am hesitant to make my first appointment. I am not sure why. I think that I am going to force myself to today.

As far as diapers.. I still have a ton of gender neutral from my daughter. I plan on making/buying a few more and I ALREADY have started knitting woolies and buying yarn. Is anyone else in here crafty?

Im finally over the queasiness. Thank goodness! I still cant eat a lot of sweets and smells can be unsettling (my husband reheated pizza in the toaster oven and it smelled so foul) Im not as cranky or emotional as I have been, so thats a good thing!

Re: November 2013 due daters :)

I'm not super crafty. I've made a couple diapers and crocheted some woolies in the past but none of them actually ended up working out for my boys. So I probably won't make anything for this one. I don't need a project to add more stress to my schedule anyway.

I've had some mild cramping, sore boobies, and I a twing of the first sign of nausea today. I did break down and buy 2 walmart cheapies, just to see if I can get a darker line. I'll post a pic tomorrow after test with FMU.

I think I already said this, but I'm planning to use flats and thirsties duos. Super cheap and easy to wash! I'm going to be all about cheap and easy another kid to take care of. I feel like it's gonna be crazy.

Oh, so I am going to my mom's house tomorrow. Should I tell her? I can't decide. I also like the idea of it being our little secret for a while. But, I already told my sister and she pointed out that if mom ever found I told my sister way before her, she would be offended. I don't really care if she knows, but we for sure aren't telling any other family for at least two more weeks, probably longer. Maybe I'm kinda worried she'll accidentally spill the beans before we're ready. Well, we'll see. Maybe when I'm around her tomorrow I won't be able to resist.

How's everyone feeling?
