Re: Slow flow vs fast flow nipples

I have this same issue, except my DS gets really frustrated and cranky with the bottle. Should I still keep him on slow flow? Daycare does not mind that it takes him longer, I just feel bad that he is getting so upset with it.

No no no! Slow flow until he weans off bottles! Number zero nipple all the way. Breastfed babies take longer to eat. He'll stay full longer that way, instead of guzzling through two 4 oz bottles in one sitting. My dd took a bottle during the day when I was a WOHM her first year of life - she stayed on newborn nipples.
