Re: *LOOKIE* A FS0T Checklist & Helpful Hints *LOOKIE*
I agree that when sellers are very specific, it makes it better for me to want to purchase or inquire about the sell more. When you are new to the whole system, simpler is always better. thanks for the post

Re: *LOOKIE* A FS0T Checklist & Helpful Hints *LOOKIE*
Thank you for all the info!!! Curious to know whether my 100% great buying experiences before I read this post and bought on faith are due to this excellent and informative post! Also wondering if any of the veterans can verify whether the quality of transactions on DS has improved over the years? Thanks again for helping out us newbies!

Re: *LOOKIE* A FS0T Checklist & Helpful Hints *LOOKIE*
I definitely like the size and care info. To know whether someone line dried or used a dryer and detergent type, etc. is useful. You can try to match to your own style, or at least it gives you an insight into what it's likely to be like. Regarding size, I also find it helpful when people talk about what else their LO was wearing at the time to give an idea of how true to size it is. Either that or measurements. I don't mind measuring myself, but I guess some people don't like to do it.

Re: *LOOKIE* A FS0T Checklist & Helpful Hints *LOOKIE*
I know this sticky hasn't been posted on in a long time, but I have something to add.
![]() As a seller, when you've been communicating with your first potential buyer, but haven't finalized the details - don't sell to someone else just because they pop in and want your PayPal address. At the very least, give your first contact the opportunity to buy. Then if you don't reach an agreement, that's fine. Hard to find items will generate a lot of interest, but Spot's and eBay are the places to go for auctions. And yes, giving a buyer your e-mail address for PayPal is the same as agreeing to sell to them. This may seem like common courtesy, but it happened to me today. As a potential buyer, I was very disappointed to say the least, and it's left a bad taste in my mouth. Just want to spare others this experience!

Thanks for the info- I'm new here too and have some stuff to sell, but don't want to screw it up. Ditto @Mamarendall on the acronyms.
