I'm not sure if it will suit your needs but I downloaded the kidzui browser for my kids to use.

There's also one called the Zac browser, it's pretty good and they're coming out with a new version soon.

We have setup users for the kids with limits on what they can do. Bookmarked ok sites. They only on if & when we are & we check sites before they look at if researching things.
