To everyone who recommended LLL and not stressing, thank you. I logically know that but you know that it helps to hear things from other people, too.
The hospital I am delivering at is rated "Baby friendly" by UNICEF and hosts the closest LLL, plus they specifically talked about their procedures to encourage breastfeeding on the hospital tour, so I'm hopeful that part will be easier at least. I do seem to be able to produce colostrum already. The oatmeal part could get tricky what with needing gluten free oats (and my nutritionist is still skeptical about those because so often, people with Celiac are separately allergic to oats!) but I will poke around here and try to get stocked up on milk-helpers. Thank you! |

Sometimes its genetic but you are right that there are so many ways to boost your supply.
This will help increase your supply.. Drink lots of Fluid. (Milk will also be great!) Fruits and veggies. Green veggies is great to increase supply. Take your Vitamins. Stay out of stress. Stress lowers production plus your baby will absorb it too. Exercise. Rest. Enough sleep. Willingness to BF. Smile. |
