I would call them. They've let me return e books that I've accidentally ordered. The worst they can say is no, right? That's worth $40. (And yeah, I'd be annoyed with DH!! Maybe make him call!)

Go to your Amazon account. There is a an option to return things that we downloaded by accident.

Amazon allows returns of ebooks within 7 days (although, there are rumors that they have cracked down on frequent returners, and now those people have to contact cs instead of doing it from the website). All other digital content is non-returnable, although cs usually will return the first time, and help turn on parental controls.
