Wow. This looks easy...anybody try this wool cover?
I'm curious to see feedback. I know its a longshot, but this pattern looks WAY too easy to pass up!

I haven't personally, but I've seen many upcycled soakers/shorties/longies. They seem to work well for many people.

I haven't seen that one yet but I might try it later! I do have some cashmere sweaters that still need to be upcycled.

Re: Wow. This looks easy...anybody try this wool cover?
One difference I can see from the way most covers are made is that the stretch in this one would go up and down, rather than side to side which might make the fit different. If the wool gets stretched out, it seems like it will make the cover longer, instead of stretching to allow for a growing booty/bigger diaper. I would reverse the direction of the knitting/weave, but like the idea!

yup, that's what I'd do. I think it would be fine, but it might fit a bit bunchy...

Re: Wow. This looks easy...anybody try this wool cover?
def streach side to side and I would make the leg cuffs wider and me I like a waistband and hate drawstring as my kids can remove anything lol
ydd anything she's not supost to have she gets all my bibs are snap on baprons because she actually untied a store bought bib and wrapped the string arond her neck 2x tight {that's what I get for leaving her contained in a highchair to go pee, and yes older siblings were "watching" her while i was in there 2 mins} So I now use snaps or waistband just a fyi you can take a normal soaker pattern and sew the leg cuffs on and then sew the sides which is pretty much exactly what she does so you'd get a pattern that fits good higher rise in back and lower in front with a lil booty room type deal cwim it does put a seam on the inside againgst thigh innstead of against dipe but if it's soft it shouldn't matter ![]() sorry for book lol
