Fabric Help!
Okay ladies can you tell me your experience with flats made of
1.Bamboo Hemp Blend, 2.Double sided Bamboo Terry, 3.Bamboo Viscose & cotton, and 4.Hemp Jersey fabrics? Like drying times, etc. I am trying to decide which kind to order for flats and not sure. I want them to be able to handwash easily and dry outside. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Fabric Help!
Quote:
1.Bamboo Hemp Blend, -Blend with what? What kind of fabric? Weight? 2.Double sided Bamboo Terry, - Bamboo mixed with what? Weight? 3.Bamboo Viscose & cotton, and – What kind of Bamboo/cotton? Weight? 4.Hemp Jersey fabrics?,- All hemp? Weight? So you can see you are missing some information to all of your choices, no one can give you an answer based on your information. Saying that most people will not know or remember (me) the weight of fabrics they have. Obviously the lighter the fabric the thinner and the quicker it will dry but it will also be less absorbent. As you will be hand washing and line drying are you making flats to save money? Flats are very expensive to make from new material you can at best get 2 single layer flats from 1 yard of a wide width fabric. I like jersey for fast drying and softness when not using a dryer. I have found that even baby terry bamboo/cotton can be a little crunchy if not put in the dryer.

These are premade flats? Single layer? What are the prices?

Yeah single layer they range from 3.60 to 4.80. I just don't know which I should get.

Re: Fabric Help!
Do you sew? The prices are not a great savings to buying the fabric. You of course save time and effort buying but you could have fabric at your door in a few days, coops tend to take a while.
Can you mix and match or do you need to order just one kind?
