I made my first wet bag! Handle is a bit un proportionate but functionable for sure.

Ok, so here's what I have done the past two days.

First, those fleece pants for the baby I have been talking about

Pattern called for 5/8 of a yard of fabric...I forget how yardage is awarded? The only notion, if it counts as a notion, is the elastic.


And of course here's the baby modeling for us


Then I made a scarf and glove set for my teenager





And the recipient modeling for us
(ignore the super crappy shot, our windows face due west)

SO, the scarf was a remnant that was 18in wide by 1.75 yrds long. Again, not sure how to measure that. And, if elastic is a notion, then they have elastic at the wrist too.

The gloves....I made up the pattern. I cut them out of a second remnant I had. The rest of that remnant is going to be a pillow, that I might whip off tonight after the baby goes down...or not.

SO, that's what I have done this week...Help with points?

5pts (yardage)
1pt (notions;elastic)
1pt (picture)

Scarf:
I would guess since the fabric isn't the full width you wouldn't get full 1.75 yds points but maybe half of that at 7 pts? Picture-1pt

Then the gloves I'm guessing maybe 1/4 yard (9x40-60) fabric piece at most? 2 pts
Notions (elastic)-1pt, picture-1pt, accessorizing-1pt

I'm just guessing here- maybe someone else can chime in too and double check!

That's kind of along the lines I was thinking. I wasn't sure about how to point the scarf. It was a remnant, and only had one selvage edge so

I think for the pants I get the 5pts for the bonus for it being for the little ones since I got it in last night? And then, the scarf and gloves, those were for my daughter, but she's 17, does that count for the bonus for the young ones?
