35 weeks 6 days arrival

On Friday march 15th at 11:01 pm my sweet Tessie Irelynn dramatically came into the world weighing 4p 15oz and 19 inches long... as per hospital policy any baby born before 36 weeks must go to nicu for 6 hrs for observation ( tessie was 59 min shy of being 36 weeks lol).... it was hard to not be able to hold her but after 6 hrs she was brought to my room where she stayed... dr said she is perfect just teeny...we went home on sunday st pattys day and she has been doing great... we have to go for daily weight checks to make sure shes gaining well...now that my milk is in she is putting on weight

Congratulations. Wow, she is tiny. Mine came home a 4# 12oz and I remember him being sooo little. I could barlely feel him when I carried him in my moby. Glad to hear that you are both home. Enjoy your itty bitty.

Congratulations! My DS1 was born 2 hours over 36 weeks so he just barely missed the "extras" of being under 36 weeks, but he still was taken away for 3 hours to be observed. He was 5 lbs 13 oz, so a real chunk compared to your LO.

Congrats and glad to hear baby girl is doing well! My DS (#4) was 36w1d so we missed the nicu (dd#3 was a 32 weeker so this was huge). We has a big boy at 7lb 5oz!
