anyone else feel like their home is a bio-hazard right now?

LOL

Between my milk coming in and leaking at every feeding, my baby peeing through EVERY.SINGLE.DIAPER., the gross oozing from the umbilical stump in all the onesies, the newborn pee ON my bed, the poop I manage to catch with a towel as I'm changing a diaper, and the awesome PP bleeding, dirty diapers and pads, milk soaked sheets, shirts, pillows and towels....

I feel like we need a bio-hazardous sign in our front yard and all visitors should wear chem suits!

It's gross! I forgot how yucky these first few weeks can be!!!

Missing my clean house!

Love it. Those biohazard days are too quickly forgotten, I think because of the lack of sleep during these days. Maybe that's why we are so sleep deprived at the beginning, because if we remembered all these things and the 48 hour labors, the human race would become extinct.

I hadn't remembered but now that you mention it it does sound familiar. I was thinking about how much laundry we had after having a baby. Everything was dirty everyday and it was so much to keep up with. I always said when we had another baby we would get a larger washer and dryer but that hasn't happened.

I almost made it a full 4 weeks before I got peed and pooped on. There's no avoiding it! Now puking is a whole other story. Glad I stocked up on cheap pfs for burp cloths!

Re: anyone else feel like their home is a bio-hazard right now?

I'm def not saying I would trade it back. I am really enjoying the new baby stage again.

But I do really miss my clean, tidy, organized house.

My neurosis is showing.
