Help me help a friend?

This might be a little long, but I'm not sure how to make it short.

Anyway, a friend of mine was diagnosed with a brain tumor and recently had surgery. Due to being off work for so long they lost insurance. She had it long enough to cover the surgery, but doesn't have any for the post op testing. The surgery didn't go as well as planned and now she has more complications than expected. They could really use any and all help they can get. A benefit was set up to help with medical bills. She's such a strong woman but needs a little help. I'm asking all of you DS mom's and dad's to please check out the link below and if you can donate, even a dollar would be helpful. She has a goal of $5,000, but in reality she needs so much more than that. Upwards of $35,000, but she doesn't want to ask for it. So, I'm asking, could you please find it in your heart to help her out? Just a little. I know she would appreciate it. The link also has more information about her condition.

Thank you so much.

What kind of tumor? I was reading part of the blog/fund raiser and didn't see that?! Sorry if that's intrusive, sounds like what I had.

Re: Help me help a friend?

As far as I know they were just calling it a pituitary tumor. But, as it seems it's more complicated than just that now. During surgery they noticed some other things. There's so much information on her page with her updates that it's hard to sort though it all.

I had a pituitary tumor removed, along with a blood clot in 2004. So scary & it still gives me horrible side effects for growing for so long. I'm praying for your friend!
