sigh
DD loves her school and friends but I wish I could keep the "grown" kids from spreading their growness. So far nothing bad, just not stuff that I would have introduced. Before kindergarten she had no idea who Justin Bieber or the Next Big Thing were. Now she is running around singing songs that she has never actually heard, just heard her friends singing and dancing to them. She was playing horses and unicorns now she is playing vampires and werewolves- I am guessing from her friends that watch Monster High. Sigh, I knew it would happen but I still wish I could keep her into Doc McStuffins and Sofia a little longer.
And let me tell you I just love watching my daughter point her rear to her brother and "fart". I hate that word. Then laugh and run around saying "I farted on bubba".

Re: sigh
I have a 4yo, I can understand. I just want to keep her sweet precious little self protected, innocent, playing princess dress-up. And not knowing about all those 'grown' kid things yet. She's not at school, but she still picks up things from other kids at daycare, sunday school, etc.
I agree....sigh. |
