Paleo Chat Jan, Feb & March 2013

So I'm looking for some really easy menu suggestions using mainly things I've already bought.... Id like to make it a two week list. I'm feeding 2 people and am aiming for about 1500 calories a day.

Meat
12 Italian sausages
One whole chicken
4lbs pork chops
4 dozen cage free eggs
2 packs bacon
4 pieces salmon

Fruit
4 lbs bananas
3lb Clementines
3lb oranges
4lbs strawberries

Vegetables
3 bags celery
4 bags baby carrots 1lb each
One spaghetti squash
2 bags broccoli
One bag mixed veggies
4 yams

Also have
3 almond milks(1/2 gallons )
2 gallons orange juice
Lemon juice
Tea bags
Stevia
Ranch
Italian dressing

I have a gift card to amazon plan to order some things like coconut flour..... But any ideas of must haves would be great..

Meal ideas for this week are
Smoothies
Spaghetti with sausuage
Chicken soup
Pork chops broccoli and yams
Chicken broccoli and yams
Boiled eggs for snacks
Celery and ranch for snacks


I'm really bad at this it needs to be cooking for dummies...

I didn't loose weigh on paleo until I started tracking calories. I did feel better after a few weeks though.

I guess I'll give it another week or so, and up my protein. I have been focusing on veggies and fruit, so cutting out fruit might have just left me with not enough food. I'll see how it goes to increase the meat!

Couple extra ideas, but everything sounds good just how you have it.

Chicken Lomein (spaghetti squash, chicken, mixed veggies)
bacon and veggie omelets (or "quiche")
ooh maybe egg salad ( there's tons of paleo recipes out there, and use the celery to eat with it)

I buy "gold" aka organic shredded cheese every once in awhile helps me not feel deprived

Woohoo I was 247 when I checked 3 weeks ago and when I checked tonight and I'm 235lb 9 oz.

So I guess even though I've not done 100 percent its working

I'm not. I mean we are active I walk 4-5 miles a day and depending on our schedule more.
