I also had both a pis and a rented pump. I pumped full time. The hospital pump was well worth the money. I only used the pis when onthe go as the hossy pump was so heavy. But I would rent again if needing to pump full time.

So glad I could help! And I just randomly found the receipt from my rental while organizing baby stuff, it was actually 55$/month, not 70$. I forgot that I went with the older/cheaper model. Don't be fooled by how bright and shiny a pump is.
